Description
AKIRA is a suspension concentrate (SC) insecticide that contains two active ingredients: thiamethoxam (12.6%) and lambda-cyhalothrin (9.5%). Thiamethoxam is a neonicotinoid insecticide that works by blocking the acetylcholine neurotransmitter receptors in insects’ nerve cells. Lambda-cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid insecticide that works by interfering with the sodium channels in insects’ nerve cells.
